Protecting your privacy is important to Pro Aidants ("Pro Aidants"; "we"). In the following transparency notices and privacy statements, we describe how we collect and process your personal data (as well as certain non-personal technical data) in connection with Pro Aidants Services.

Provision of the online services
You can visit the Pro Aidants website and learn about Pro Aidants Services without telling us who you are. As with any connection to a web server, the server on which we have our online services provided automatically logs and stores certain technical data for a short period of time. This includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the date and time of use, and the type of browser you use to access the Online Services. This is necessary for the optimal and secure provision of the online services.
Provision of the We+Care App
You can share personal data with other users of the app via the We+Care App. The servers on which we store personal data from the We+Care App are located exclusively in Switzerland. We do not share personal data with other users without you authorizing such data transfer. As a reference person (network administrator), you can adjust the privacy and access permissions to the needs of your network. If you process personal data from third parties on the We+Care app, you are responsible for having the rights required to do so.
Analysis and optimization of the use of online services
We use Google Analytics to evaluate the use of our online services and to obtain information for their optimization. Google Analytics is an analysis service of Google LL.C. The provider of the service and responsible for data processing for users in Switzerland and the EEA is Google Ireland Limited.
Google uses cookies to evaluate the use of the online services, to create reports about it and to provide other web analysis services for us. We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that your IP address is shortened in Switzerland or the EEA. We are therefore unable to identify you on the basis of the data collected via Google Analytics. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by downloading a browser add-on to disable Google Analytics.
Notes on the use of cookies
We use cookies to enable the optimal use of online services. Cookies are text files that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website.
Some of the cookies used in our online services (so-called session cookies) are necessary for technical reasons so that we can enable you to use certain functions. In addition, our web analytics service provider uses cookies to enable web analytics in our interest of optimizing the online services. You could set your web browser to disable the storage of cookies. However, the use of the Pro Aidants website would then not be possible or only possible to a very limited extent.
Processing of requests and orders as well as mailing via postal services
When contacting us (via contact form or email) via the websites mentioned at the beginning, your information will be processed. If you order a product or service (in particular access to the We+Care App) or have an app-specific request, we need your first name and surname, your e-mail address (for the purpose of order confirmation or feedback) and your address for shipping. This data is collected solely to fulfill an order or your request.
Sign up for newsletter and other notifications
If you sign up for a newsletter or for other notifications, your information may be stored in our Customer Relationship Management System and Marketing Automation Platform ("CRM & Marketing System") or comparable inquiry organization.
We use the CRM, login and marketing automation system "HubSpot", from the provider HubSpot Inc. (25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA). For this purpose, we have concluded an order data processing contract with HubSpot with standard contractual clauses, in which HubSpot undertakes to process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and to comply with our level of data protection. Other data processing
Care coordination
The We+Care App is used to connect individuals and staff of organizations around a cared-for person. The We+Care App is a proprietary cloud application platform from We Technology Association, based in Zurich, Switzerland. The We+Care App uses certified data centers in Switzerland to store personal data managed by Microsoft. Carer-friendly care coordination
We use Loomio to manage activities in the association and the We+Care platform. Loomio helps beneficiaries, individual members, and representatives of organizations discuss coordinated care models together and make decisions online. Loomio is open source software from Loomio Cooperative Limited, based in Aukland, New Zealand. Quality End of Life
The QEoL research project explores the specific needs of people and their caregivers in the very last phase of life. The consortium consisting of Pro Aidants, We Technology Association, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Canton Aargau, University of Toronto and Smart in Life is developing new technological applications with the aim of improving quality at the end of life.
